I hope you are having a great Friday morning. I also hope you will have an even better weekend. Tonight is high school football night, and the Shoals Christian Flames are playing Tharptown at Shoals Christian Stadium. Our band will be playing their new program for the 2019 season. Next Thursday is the beginning of College Football, and our UNA Lions will be playing Western Illinois at the Braley Stadium. Probably the biggest game Thursday is Georgia Tech at Clemson.
Anyhow as excited as I am about the new football season this email isn't about football. This is a reminder about our meeting this Monday. Brother Dan will be doing the program and talking about his incredible career in the academic community, including his time at UNA. I am sure he will share with us information about Una and Leo and all he and his wife have done in their upkeep for the past 17 years. Hopefully Brother Ed Yeilding will be able to join us. Also hoping Brother Bucky will return for another visit too.
Brother Hermon will be filling us in on the Grand Lodge. I will have the new lodge shirt and hat for display along with an order form if you want one or both. With so much to discuss, please come enjoy the lunch and the fellowship with all of our interesting and wonderful Brothers. Remember, the strength of any organization is its members.
